What do you do for work other than blogging and vlogging?

I'm a licensed Cosmetologist. I started out doing cut and color and hair and makeup for weddings for a few years. Then I started transitioning to esthetics and worked at a destination hotel spa for about 4 1/2 years after that. Now I'm a stay at home mom where I can still share my love for fashion and beauty but also share my life and family with you guys through my blog and Instagram! <3

 

Where are you from?

I was born and raised in Hood River, OR. I Moved away to the Suburbs of Portland, OR to attend Cosmetology school for a couple of years, Afterwards, I moved back to Hood River for about 5 years (that's where we bought our first home) and just this last year have relocated and bought a new house in the suburbs of Portland, OR!

What camera do you use?

Sony a5100, GoPro Hero 7 Black, GoPro Session for vlogging and outdoor photo/video. For most of my blog/Instagram photos, we use the Canon 80D and the iPhone 11 Pro Max!

What iPhone Apps/Computer Programs do you use to edit photos?

I created my own presets in Lightroom (might sell one of these days), I do any leftover tweaks to my photos with Facetune app and Retouch app if I need to remove any unwanted people or objects from my photos. I've been starting to use UNUM to plan my Instagram posts, so far I love it!

Who takes your photos?

My wonderful Husband Ryan takes all my photos! <3 Sometimes my mom if she's with me or any friends if that's who we are with at the time.

What clothing companies do you shop from mostly

 I shop at Nordstrom, Nordstrom Rack & Forever 21 Mostly. I also love Target, Amazon Fashion, H&M, and Express. Occasionally I'll find great basics at Old Navy or Gap.

**For pregnancy I bought a lot of items from Pink Blush Maternity and Motherhood Maternity they have EVERYTHING!

Favorite places to buy Home Decor?

Target, Home Goods, TJ Maxx, Wayfair, Joss and Main, Crate and Barrel, West Elm, Anthropologie.

You have so many hobbies, how did you become so creative?

Well.... might be kind of a long answer but to start, some of you who don't already know I'm an only child and my mom decided to put me in ballet when I was 3 years old to get me into an activity and meet friends before starting school, that's what started my dance and cheerleading career. It was my outlet, it was my safe place in adolescence. In high school I turned our kitchen into a dance studio so whenever things were hard or I just wanted an escape I just went to my little studio, blast my music and dance my heart out. As for everything else I think most of my passions just run in my family. My dad owns a Graphics Design Company (his side of the family are all really good artists and outdoor sports enthusiasts) his business is where I was fortunate enough to grow up. Instead of ever having to go to daycare or home after school by myself I was able to go to his business and create anything I could imagine. I'm very thankful for their business and how I was able to grow up because of it. My mom's side of the family, however, are all musicians. Music has always been the center of my world ever since I was born. As a whole being creative has the same core, just different outlets. I feel like I use 100% of the right side of my brain and 0% of my left side LOL. I just really love creating anything and everything I possibly can. That's also why I'm so thankful to have married Ryan, he's the exact opposite! He was a former diesel mechanic and now a technical trainer for Caterpillar Company and is a total (smarty pants) numbers guy. I don't know what I would do without him! When we put our strengths together we create a great team. <3
